YSI is seeking a highly qualified Project Manager. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, of Computer Applications, Project Management Professional, Electronics, Software Sciences OR Relevant field.
- SECRET Clearance
- 5 years of experience with Army IT
- PMI Certification preferred.
- Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.
- Takes projects from original concept through final implementation.
- Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.
- Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
- Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
- Under general supervision, carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum organization standards and end-user requirements.
- Thoroughly tests software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. Documents and works to resolve all problems.
- Reports progress on problem resolution to management. Devise improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations.
- Performs workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements.
- Experience supporting 500 or more users.
