YSI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer - Intermediate to support the DTSS program at Fort Belvoir, VA. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and functionality of information systems, performing software testing, and recommending workflow and procedural improvements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all information systems products and services meet organizational standards and end-user requirements.
- Conduct thorough testing to verify software functionality and identify defects.
- Document and troubleshoot issues, working toward timely resolution.
- Report progress on issue resolution to management.
- Develop improvements to existing processes and models for potential future configurations.
- Perform workflow analysis and recommend quality enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Active Secret Clearance required.
- Ability to work onsite at Fort Belvoir, VA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in software testing, data analysis, and process improvement.
